You only have weeks to live

... every man should read this

Hey man

Let’s get real.

Most men wander aimlessly in life.

And if you’re one of them, I invite you to get uncomfortable and read this email.

Because when you wander, you waste time.

The average man has 3,962 weeks in his life.

When you consider how many weeks you’ve already lived, that’s not a lot.

And when you wander, you engage in pointless pleasure-seeking because why not?

If you don’t have a good enough reason not to … why wouldn’t you watch porn or play video games?

Without purpose, pleasure takes it’s place as the shallow focal point of your life.

And it happens because you lack the one thing every man needs.

Clarity.

Clarity is knowing who you are, where you’re going, and what you’re on this earth to do.

Clarity brings motivation.

With clarity, life makes sense. It changes everything.

Life can be completely meaningless if you don’t have clarity in your future.

A man cannot stand a meaningless life. Not for long.

Luckily, to find the answer, you don’t need to look very far.

The answer lies within you already.

Where?

Through the wisdom of the body.

But unfortunately, most men are entirely insensitive to it.

Now, when I say sensitive, I don’t mean the emotional volatility, weakness and neediness that we usually associate with that word.

I’m a sensitive man, but not a weak one.

To be sensitive is to be deeply in touch with your inner GPS system.

This means your intuition, which doesn’t speak in words or logic…

But through feelings, hunches … and even visions.

When a man is lost in life … he also often says that he feels emotionally numb, cut off and disconnected.

That’s because these two things are linked.

So what to do?

Access the wisdom of the body.

Your body knows the answer already.

You need to slow down and listen to it.

If you’ve ever meditated for long periods, you’ll know that strange insights and reflections just pop up out of nowhere.

It’s the same as a “gut feeling” …

Both are the wisdom of the body.

Here’s what you need to do, if you want to tap into the wisdom of the body…

Reduce sources of stimulation. Stimulants. Coffee. Video games. Tobacco. Anything that activates your nervous system. Unplug from the outside. Tune into the inside. Do it for 7 days.

Practice body awareness training. It’s like learning a new language. The body speaks, and only those with ears to listen will understand. 10 minutes a day of silent body observation is all you need.

Slow down in your day-to-day life. Pause before speaking. Take a few breaths before making a decision. Before going about your day, tune into yourself and ask what YOU would like to do.

As you slow down in your life, your connection to yourself will slowly return.

Remember, it’s better to let muddy waters clear before trying to find your way through them.

If you want to go deeper, helping you find your purpose and motivation in life is part of what I do in the Man On Purpose 12-week mentorship program.

It’s for men in their 30s who’ve achieved some worldly success but still feel like something is missing.

I help you develop a strong sense of direction in life, discover (or rediscover) your true self and make that self-present in your relationships while being able to talk with confidence to anyone.

It will also help you break your addictions since most compulsions/addictions thrive when your life lacks clarity.

All you have to do is click this link, and it will take you to my calendar.

Find a time that suits you, block it out and answer the follow-up questions.

We’ll meet on a call & find the clarity you're looking for, and make a game plan for the next few months of your life.

Sound good? I look forward to speaking with you.

Until next time,

Oliver “Clarity” Cowlishaw
