This inner work method changed my life

A year ago I started experimenting with an inner work approach to change my bad habits…

And after a year, I barely recognise myself.

Since I started, I have successfully…

  • Quit porn

  • Lost 6kgs

  • Cut out junk food

  • Stopped vaping & smoking weed entirely

  • Built a regular breathwork practice

  • Started walking 10k steps a day

  • TRIPLED my income in my business

  • Quit dating apps and built a solid social circle

  • Finally started performing publicly as a DJ

  • Ended the anxiety that’s followed me since I was a boy

And this isn’t even counting the tons of micro changes in how I communicate with people.

The truth is…

I struggled with my lifestyle and habits for a long time.

I tried the Atomic Habits systems approach. It eventually fizzled out.

I tried the STAY HARD David Goggins approach. It made me hate myself and binge eat.

I tried to manifest my goals. I ended up playing Skyrim for days at a time in a cloud of laziness.

I was screwed and wasn’t sure which way to go.

Until I came across an approach that’s kinda weird.

And it isn't so well known.

I’m even pioneering and experimenting with it myself.

And here it is in a nutshell.

The #1 reason why you know what to do but don’t do it…

Your mind is made up of multiple parts.

And deep down there are parts of you that do NOT want to do the things you’re trying to make them do.

There’s a teenager or child in you that’s in rebellion mode.

And that rebellion = a bad habit binge.

Self-sabotage.

And the harder you crack the whip, the harder they rebel.

It’s an endless cycle that can last a lifetime.

No wonder the David Goggins approach didn’t work for me.

I was using judgment, criticism and blame towards the part of me that was already hurting.

So what did I do that changed everything?

I simply got to know the part of myself that didn’t want to go where I was suggesting…

I healed this internal conflict and got us both going in the same direction.

I started to notice habits getting easier and easier.

I was waking up early.

I forgot about porn completely and had no desire to watch it.

Getting to the gym was no problem and I was 100x more productive than before.

The best part was that none of this felt like effort.

It was even EASY.

Since then, I’ve applied this same approach to my clients.

And the results have been astounding.

Charles lost a ton of weight because he was finally able to resist the temptation to binge eat on shitty food.

Adrian quit vaping, and smoking and started hitting the gym. Without his inner teenager in rebellion mode anymore, he found changing his habits easy as f*ck. Now he has a girlfriend after an 18-month dry spell.

Dave overcame his inner teenager’s fear of confrontation. Now he’s authentic with his wife and their relationship has improved dramatically.

So I now know that this method works for other men, too.
