- Your inner critic will destroy your life...
Your inner critic will destroy your life...
... if you don't tame it
If you don't tame the inner critic within you, it will destroy your life.
Addictions.
Toxic relationship patterns.
Wasted time. Squandered potential.
Shuffling around in poisonous, venomous self-hatred.
So much damage caused...
By that little voice in our heads that says:
"Who do YOU think you are?"
"Not good enough."
And the shocking thing is ... this voice isn't real.
It's just an echo.
Bouncing from wall-to-wall in our minds...
A trace of the judgemental voices of our fathers, spoken to us when we were too young to question it.
A single moment spent fighting the inner civil war with yourself is a moment of life wasted.
How tremendously sad it is to be your own worst enemy.
How tragic it is that countless men fight a war of attrition behind their eyes.
With themselves.
Progress isn't buying a Bugatti.
Progress is the voice in your head becoming kinder and more supportive over the span of months and years.
If I could show you how much better life gets when you become a genuine friend to yourself, trust me. I would.
I wish I could click my fingers and let you experience it, brother.
When the inner civil war ends, life truly begins.
When you are your own best friend, nothing can stop you.
End the conflict.
Call a ceasefire.
Sign a peace treaty.
And stick to it.
You are NOT broken.
You deserve to realise that.
You deserve peace.
If you want to turn that critic into a loving big brother, send me a reply to this email.
I’ll show you how.
Big love,
Oliver
