If you aren’t building your vision, you’re building someone else’s.

A man will never be happy until he’s free.

Sometimes I speak to men who want to become a copywriter and earn their independence.

But when I ask them what their plan is … it’s something like:

These aren’t nothing … but they’re almost nothing.

What’s one thing all of these examples have in common?

They all revolve around studying instead of building.

The thing is…

The fastest way to learn something is to grasp the fundamentals and then put it into practice.

Learn as you build.

You will never know everything.

Waiting for the perfect time will make you a chronic procrastinator.

So I’ll tell you what I tell any man who wants to earn his freedom.

Start building your own thing. Today.

For example, if you want to become a well-paid writer… start a blog and a newsletter.

Start battle-testing your ideas and your writing style.

Get good at writing your own headlines.

Learn storytelling and the things that keep readers hooked.

Practice building and committing yourself.

There are things that experience will teach you that you will never get from a book.

And the longer you let your fears prevent you from launching…the more time you waste.
